Reynolds was given an ARCS Chapter Scholar Award for his work on the synthesis of 2D semiconductors. This award came from the the Metro Washington Chapter of the ARCS (Achievement Rewards for College Scientists) Foundation which advances science and technology in the United States by providing financial awards to academically outstanding students.
